When i go to use the "search' for my windows xp mytaskbar freezes. Any explorer windows or other programs that are up on my desktop i can still use. to turn off or restart the computer i have to use "control-alt-del" to do this.
i have used several programs to search for virus' and malware.
AVG, spybot search and destroy and malware bytes are the programs i used.
my computer works fine to my knowledge, the only issue is using the "search" on my start/menu taskbar.
i am current on all of my window updates. is there a virus, trojan horse, etc. that could be causing this or have i possibly deleted part of windows and to to fix that.
