    Netbook / Laptop (Easy Question)
    « on: June 13, 2009, 04:37:29 PM »
When I watch Hulu, the powersaver goes on and the screen goes dim.  While watching a tv show, I have to keep tapping a key or the scroll pad to fully wake it up to full color. This is sooooo annoying!  How can I stop it from going into powersaver/dim mode?

(Sorry for all the questions, guys. I got a new netbook and I am not technical) Thanks!!!  :-*

So it sounds like there is a setting that does this to save battery
Go to start then control panel and click on power settings in classic view.  Change it to something else like home/office desktop

THANKS!!!  I changed everything to die out after 2 hours so if I am watching a movie, it wont be effected by power saving.

hmmmmmmmmmmm???  ???  I spoke too soon. It is still dimming after I leave it alone for a few minutes.  Any other tips/tricks to stop this dim?  (When I tap anything, it goes back to full light) I don't want to have to do this.

Try changing the power scheme.  Try the home/office pc first and if that doesnt work keep trying different ones until it works
