If we're talking about a windows media player then go to the source.

Media Player Classic [version 6.4.9.1 rev. 100] is discontinued product.

Media Player Classic Homecinema is the one that is currently still being worked on so it'll be getting updated whenever that comes around. The other one is not going to be updated anymore.

I am going to install K Lite Mega Pack and install the Classic Homecinema  that comes with it.

But I have winamp installed on my computer for just my music but if I un install it will Classic Homecinema play all the Video and Audio that winamp did and my DVDs :)

yes, classic homecinema will play all the video and audio that winamp did and your dvd's no problem. You just have to make the classic homecinema player the default media player on your pc if that's what you would like to use as your default media player  ;D
