Unfortunately, they call the shots.

Thanks for updating this.  I'm sorry it didn't work out.

I'm certainly not going to say that you should've known not to go out of town a month after you applied.  You can't put things on hold forever.

My father worked for the US government most of his life and is generally familiar with how the system works... He tells me that with government jobs, they take there time and when they finally want you, they want you immediately...

Next time I go for a County/government job, I'll be sure check my messages all the time... ;)

i agree..............but honestly, I'm kinda having fun hiding in my hobbit hole, right now... ;)  I may be certified but I'm not content with what I know about computers... I think in another six months or so I'll feel better because there's a lot of reviewing and revising I'm doing...

Remember, you'll only know how much you know when you get out in the real world and find out how little eveyone else knows......Geez , I hope that made sense.

      Lol

Well, hanging around here sure puts my knowledge to the test.  Any time I see a fresh question, I imagine I'm sitting right in front of their computer and ask myself, "ok, what would be the first logical step to take"?  In some cases it seems I still don't know what that is (actually, more cases than what I'd like, right now)...but I think I've gotten better in the last couple of months...

anyway, like I said, I'm enjoying my Hobbit Hole  ;D      I am Mr. Bilbo Baggins

BH ...I've found this chart a great aid.......I may have posted it already so I apologize for doubleposting....It will assist with that first step.  ;)

The 30" x 30" laminated wall chart cost $22.00 to have produced at Staples.

Actually, the single greatest source of information is Google........70% of problems are caused by connections and Google handles the rest....People get a computer problem and they figure their problem is unique and no one has ever experienced the the same  issue, when in reality there are pages upon pages of Google hits all about that "unique" problem......
