SOS! serious problems!

I have a huge problem on my computer. I for sure know its a virus.

1 running slow
2 runs sound bits constantly and randomly even when disconnected from internet ( Plays sounds from commericals)
3 Popups galore ( And I have a popup blocker!!)
4 It Recently has been shutting my computer off after a few minutes of it being on.
dont even have enough time to get onto the internet! (using someone elses computer right now)   

I have windows XP

That Doesent work my computer doesent stay on long enough for me to do all that. Is there anything else I can do?

Can you run them in safe mode?


Your computer shuts off completely or does it reboot?

And it just shuts itself off. its set up so you have to Manuely reboot
