Yeah, I'm really glad I was born here. I'm a staunch believer that people don't pay enough taxes in other countries.
I think you just witnessed me losing my mind...
I, on the other hand, can't but ponder how I can possibly be living in Canada and yet get bills for my "free" health care. Really, it's a thinly disguised tax. I mean, really, they get over 250 dollars a month from me in federal taxes, and I can only assume millions of others... obviously, some of this goes back to the province, and of course there is PST and so forth, and yet they assume they can start mailing these bills to people, saying it's a "mandatory" health insurance premium. I mean, seriously, *censored* kind of BS is that? Anyway, it was fun. I stopped paying it- and they started phoning me. most people just don't answer the phone, I on the other hand saw an oppurtunity for fun, and I couldn't help myself. Anyway, they were awfully rude before I even applied my nonsensical wit. they started saying they could take it from my bank accounts and so forth. I laughed right back. Anyway, after some minutes of clever insults, it usually ended up calling their mother names. you know, stuff like, "I saw a giant, 40 foot tall garden tool one day... that was the biggest hoe I'd seen until I met your mom" type stuff.
Long story short, they quit phoning me for some reason. Well, there goes my free entertainment. Oddly enough I still have federal medical coverage, which is the way it's always been anyway.
I'll be quiet now. heh.
