I have to wonder if her cells age.

I really hope that she doesn't have to spend the rest of her life being 'studied'.

It says she doesn't have any known disorder.

Well there's ya go! It's simply not known!

Yes, as far as I know because her cells can only live for so long they die and now cells are made using mitosis, now if these weren't dying and therfore no new cells were being replicated she would have cancer (because mitosis repairs the cells) and cancer is any abnormality in the number of new cells being produced.

Your assuming the rest of her doesn't age Irish, they said she has the skeleton that appears to be aged to about that of a ten year old. So she IS aging.

Paud, your too dismissive, thinking anything too bizarre isn't true. Things do exist beyond our realm of understanding, most people just refuse to accept that.

That sounds reminiscent of the Catholic church and Galileo's views of the solar system.

There is proof, do you really want to be in her place?

Fascinating, but I wonder if she may become the oldest person alive if this continues to pause her aging(but from what the article said: "Her body parts are independent in the aging process, not in sync")
