    Flash not displayed in iFrames
    « on: July 03, 2009, 03:40:43 AM »
I have created a website so that I can keep people up-to-date with my training - http://www.blazingtrails.eu

The 'My Progress' page should display my Nike training webpage, which uses flash to show graphs of my runs. Instead it displays the warning that a newer version of flash is needed and cookies must be enabled. In my case they are because the content from Nike displays ok when I visit their website directly.

I have used iframes on other pages and these display correctly. The content displays ok on my website when I use Safari, Firefox and Opera....

.... so I must assume that the issue with IE7 & IE8 (tried both).

Does anyone know of a workaround with ifames and IE7/8?

Try completely uninstalling the Flash ActiveX plugin and reinstalling.  This is a known issue with recent Flash upgrades.
Only able to visit the forums sporadically, sorry.
