Internet Explorer Network Problem
« on: May 26, 2005, 07:53:09 PM »
All of a sudden, internet explorer keeps giving me the "page cannot be displayed" page. My internet works fine, because I am posting this using Netscape. It is strange, on my other computer (same wireless network) internet explorer doesn't work either. But netscape does. Then I hit "restore defaults" in the properties, but they didn't do anything. I tried reinstalling, but they still don't work. I don't know why internet explorer can't detect my network settings. I don't remember making any changes. Any help is appreciated.

Go to IE>File and make sure the Work Offline option is not ticked.

Nope, not ticked. This is really strange, I think this happened about two days after installing Windows Media Player 10 on my XP computer and Windows Media Player 9 on my windows 98 computer. The thing is, I used windows media player ten with the internet. I think internet explorer didn't work before installing windows media player 9 on my windows 98 computer.
