Mysterious floppy drive access

Can someone please tell me why is my floppy drive being accessed sometimes when I'm on the internet, but also when I am offline, but copying files from a cd to my hard drive?

This happened to me too but it eventually went away.

If this doesn't help - try running a full virus scan.
