Sound help!

I have an Inspiron E1505 notebook. I cannot hear sound from my speakers, but when i plug in headphones i can hear it from them. IS there a way for me to get the sound to play out from my notebook speakers? Thanks

Same problem with mine. Gave up after about a year of trying.

Quite possibly the speaker cables are disconnected.  Did they ever work?

I believe he's referring to built-in speakers.
