    avoiding to install IE8

    made a clean install and had to update via MS Update and there is the bloody IE8 again and I cant see I can avoid to install it either...its only 1 of 38 updates...any help?

    It should be an optional update. Just uncheck the checkbox beside it in Windows Update .
