Recovering files after System Recovery
« on: July 19, 2009, 03:13:01 PM »
I had to do a full system recovery as described here:

"Full System Restore (with Backup) Using Gateway System Recovery Windows XP Recovery CD

This option moves all hard disk contents to the "C:\My Backup" directory and installs a new copy of Windows®. This option preserves your existing data files, however all applications and settings will need to be reinstalled. This option requires a minimum 4 GB of free hard disk space for the new installation of Windows."

Now I'm wondering how to restore the backed up files.  I'm able to go to the "C:\" drive and find the "My Backup" folder but not sure what to do next.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks.
