when i try to download games from a disk the driver will not read the disk,even when i try to play music and dvd's it still won't read them I checked to see if the driver is working properly but it says they are working properly PLASE HELP!!!!!!!!!

What exactly is the problem? When did it start?

Any error messages?

CD Drives don't need drivers.

How old is the drive?

Do you have another drive that you can put in to test with?

And luckily brand new drives are relatively inexpensive.

The other info requested would also be helpful.  ;)
