unwanted radio broadcast on my labtop
    « on: July 21, 2009, 06:55:12 AM »
i am having problems with my labtop when it starts up  and it logs on to windows it starts broadcasting  radio stations from around the world and playing jazz.  when i first heard it i thought it might have been my windows media player but  when i closed it it just kept going then when i restarted my computer it turns on after i log on. i checked in my control panel and didn't see anything out of the ordinary.   ???

Click Start > RUN > MSCONFIG - Click the Startup tab on the top right and deselect unnecessary applications. If it's not a startup application doing it, it is very well possible you could be picking up an AM radio frequency through your speakers. Unsure of such a solution for that though.
