    Disappearing Navigation Bar Icons
    « on: July 29, 2009, 09:28:45 PM »
My browser is Butterfly Icon Explorer (not blue e explorer).

A month or more ago I noticed that when I click a link the new window almost always opens without the navigation bar icons.  Just the words File, Edit, View, etc. appear.

When I click View --> Navigation Bar, "Show Navigation Bar" is checked.  I have to uncheck it and check it again for the icons to appear.

This occasionally happened in the past and I never knew what to do, I just recently discovered this uncheck, check thing.

Why does it happen?  Is there some setting somewhere else I need to check?

If you click help-->about, what version of IE does it tell you that you're running?
