windows 98 update to xp failed

he ran the scan and it said you do not have diagnostic utility installed , what will he need

is just for updates to software and security. Do you know the specs of  the computer so we can tell if it ready for XP?

128mb ram 128 MB is the minimum reccommended RAM, to get full performance I suggest getting 512 or higher if the motherboard supports it.
File system 32 bit
Virtual memory 32 bit
Disk impression not installed
PC cards (PCMCIA) NO pc card sockets are installed
Display adaptors NVIDIAGE FORCE 2 MX/MX400
C Drive Free Space 26.6 GB Good, the minimum hard drive space is 1.5 GB
Capacity 37.2GB

Do you know the processor speed. the minumum speed is 233 MHZ 300 Recommeded

1300 MHZ is just fine, minimum is 233

Only thing I would say is the RAM, but run the upgrade advisor for sure

by what method , he cannot download sas or mbam either , if they were put on a stick and then put in would that work

Hmm, It worked for me. I think thats a good idea, 2x3i5x
