Shut down

my computer shuts down on its own every half hour, does anyone know how to fix this?

Have you scanned for viruses? Have you made any changes to your system recently? Is your computer overheating?

Yea ive scanned for viruses using three different anti-spyware and anti-virus programs, they found some stuff but it didnt solve the problem.
What kind of changes? All ive done is just add some apps
What do you mean by overheating?

Which applications did you install? Also, by overheating, I mean that your computer  might be getting too hot inside...

i just added Mozilla Firefox and no my comp has not been overheating

What temperature is your computer normally?

im not sure on what the average tenperature but its cool and its not overheating

You do not know the system temperatures yet you are convinced it is not overheating. I suggest you monitor your system temperatures and report them.
