Lol,  can we add location to it? Because I definately want to be at the beach with nice warm weather. No more of this cold rain stuff that keeps coming through here. I'd even bring my laptop and help other location/weather hopers.  :D

    Chkdsk just reached 32%. .....yay.

Lol, awesome. That made things super simple. :D

Chkdsk is about 75% completed in part 5 out of 5. Takes forever, lol.

It finished chkdsk and booted up and said everything was fine.

Attempted to run Avast! but it ran its memory test and did nothing again. Tried to bring up Malwarebytes but its not coming up either. And it just froze again. Only thing moving is the mouse.  :-\

i'm not an expert, but if you can, open task manager when the desktop appears and go to processes and see if a certain process is eating lots of memory.  you can end process if you find the problem, but it will likely restart itself.  and try renaming malwarebytes from "mbam.exe" to "ihatevirusesgoshdangit.exe" haha.  sometimes viruses will block programs they recognize as a common anti-malware solution, but renaming the file will fool it.

Hm, I was able to get the task manager up in the first seconds. It has yet to freeze now that I have brought it up. I don't want to stop anything from running that I dont know what it is, so here's the top 10 memory users:

ashServ.exe (24,620)  <---I have no idea what this is, I've never seen it before.  ???
              explorer.exe (20,384)
              veohwebplayer.exe (17,740)
              hpqste08 (13,908)
              svchost.exe (13,296)
              aim6.exe (10,676)
              aolsoftware.exe (9,640)
              hpqtra08.exe (9,376)
              iTunesHelper.exe (9,025)
              BigFix.exe (7,840)

And of course they're changing, but meh. I don't know what some of this stuff is on the list...
