1 I was wondering if my computer needs more memory. After i installed XP, and an ethernet connector card started to work slower. Really it was after the ethernet card that I installed everything else works fine.

2 What if I reinstall windows again would it make faster?

I'm confused. Is the ethernet card slow to transfer, or is the computer slow? How much memory do you have installed now? Are you running any anti-virus or firewall software?

According to Microsoft's website, Windows XP needs at LEAST 64MB of memory to run, and 128MB is recommended. Though, I've ran it with 256MB and it was as slow as <censored>.

EDIT: Also, please look here if you haven't done so already.

Please be more specific about your problem as Dairyman states it's confusing as we don't know the full issue.

What your HDD or RAM? What keeps telling you it's low? What is the exact message? What are your full system specs?

      Please, post some computer info:
      - processor type, amount of RAM (hold Windows logo key, hit Pause/Break key)
      - hard drive size/free space (open "My Computer", right click on hard drive letter, click "Properties")
