My computer has been running much slower since I updated to IE8.  Has anyone else experienced this?
    Thanks.

Run a good spyware scan(MalwareBytes), make sure you didn't get a hitchicker. This happened on my first download of IE8. Run CCleaner as well for a good cleanout.

Go back to IE7, switch to Firefox.

I would get ietab addon for firefox; when enabled you can have webpages load in firefox tabs using the internet explorer engine, which fixes most of those rare websites requiring internet explorer to run (unless the website needs the active x stuff)
