To be honest it almost seems like there's something.. blocking the power to reaching the whole machine, if you understand what I mean by that at least. When I turn it on with the side case off, I see all 3 fans (including the one to the graphics card), I hear otherthings start too, even now with the new PSU it seems the monitor turned on, but then said it's entering sleep mode. Still, if anyone has an idea for me to try that'd be great!

Can you log into safe mode and disable powersaving features?

Power saving doesn't really work well on most desktop computers.

I would try, but my comp doesn't boot up far enough for anything to happen. Currently stops maybe right before anything would start showing on the monitor.

Which output do you have your monitor attached to?

Hands up who thinks that he/she should unplug everything possible and start working up from scratch. I.e. Plug just motherboard & RAM in and see what happens (assuming original graphics card was internal or internal is present)
