    using a laptop connect card to send a fax

    I was wondering if I can use my laptop connect card that has a sim card w/ a phone #  to send a fax through my printer/fax machine.

    That depends on the card and the laptop.

    Are you trying to just use the card as a fax machine?
    Are you trying to access a fax machine on your network?

      I am trying to send a fax from my printer/fax machine using my connect card as the phone line. I thought if you could send text messages you should be able to send a fax?

      That would only work if your connect card can access a phone line.

      You may need Fax software depending on the OS...
