flopy disk efecting system boot

1 of my flopy disks is not working properly. so i put in my flopy disk and turn on my computer and it will say: Invalid system disk replace the disk and then press any key, and i take the flopy disk out and press a key and i runes fine untill i log in and an error comes up and it says:
Explorer.
this program has preformed a illigal operaition and will be shut down.
O i  also tryed it on annother computer and it comes up with the same thing so whats up with that ???

The disk is probably bad, or possibly the FDD in both your machine and the test machine are bad, can you read other floppies?

I just thought of something else too, is the FDD enabled in the BIOS?

Floppy drives are notorious for corruption. Hence we all stopped using them not saying they are bad there useless, even a small magnetic field can corrupt a floppy. It's time to upgrade to CD/DVD.

The disk in the floppy drive has to be a bootable disk or you will recieve that error. What is on the floppy disk you have in the drive?

We will have to wait for the OP to reply and provide some updated status.  It's a bit premature to make that assumption.

I give you 10/1 odds that it is. It does not work in two computers. I say it is you say no.
