I herd about it the night it was supposed to happen, but I just so happened to be staying in some reverse hotel.  All the windows were looking in on the lobby, so I couldnt look out and try to see.

Take an interstate highway and go along it until you can't see any civilization on the horizon. Pull over to the side of the road and look up. Absolutely amazing.

Just remember you cannot see any space event clearly (or at all) if you're in a well-populated area where there are cars, street lights, ect. It must be DARK.

Back mid July the ISS was clearly visible each night, the highlight being able to see the ISS and the shuttle linked and pass overhead at 17,500 MPH.......It appears as an unblinking white light(sometimes slightly orange) traveling extremely high in the sky and moving at the speed of a fast jet.....
