    HP Dv9000 Laptop with a lot of pink in the screen.

    Any idea what is wrong.   I have a lot of other true colors and it looks like the white backround is now pink.  I plugged into the TV and sperate monitor and the picture is perfect.  It is just on the laptop.

    I replaced the inverter and I still have the problem.  The rest of the computer runs perfect.

    Check out your Color Management in Display Properties.  The color management would be different for each monitor.

      everything looks OK in there.   

      My laptop did close hard and ever since that it has had this condition.   I checked the connections on the back of the LCD and they all look good.   

      I guess when I plug into a TV or monitor and it all looks good, then I guess my video card is good.

      Would it be LCD or backlight maybe?
