    installing xp over vista

    hey there people.
    i have a compaq presario V3744AU laptop and i wouldlike to get rid of *censored* vista and install xp pro.
    but as you already no with these machines that is not happeing.
    i dont have an option in my bios for disabling native support so whatdo i do now?
    any help wuldbe grately welcome.

    You need to check to see if there are XP drivers for that machine...

    I didn't realize there was a "*censored*" edition of Vista. If so this could be the root cause of the problem.
    I was trying to dereference Null Pointers before it was cool.
