    in an attempt to copy a dvd my daughter removed some programs to free up space....now the screen is on 4 bit and very pixelated...we cannot change it ......please help !!!!!

    download everest ultimate
    and post the output

      ty so much.....i dont think congrats is the right words tho lol....can i do that on another computer ....copy it to cd and then load......i think she deleted files that were used "rarely"...does that make sense

      yes as long as you run everest on the broken commputer
      after everest is loaded
      launch it
      then click
      report->report wizard->next->plain text->next
      now wait till its done
      press CTL+A
      press CTL+C
      now post it in your next reply

        the screen is now black AFTER the windows icons start up......

        boot into safe mode
        turn it completely off
        then while its booting up tape F8 till a black screen that has boot openions on it
        choose safe mode with networking
        you may see alot of filenames
        and it may stay ther for up to 15 mintis
        then it should boot
        run everest

        Using good computer, go to bad computer manufacturer web site, download video driver, install it on bad computer.

        Rooster, Try doing a system restore to before your daughter deleted the driver.

        You will probably have to enter safe mode to see what you are doing. Tap F8 as the computer is starting and choose safe mode. This will load a basic video driver and let you do the restore.
