i cant make a system restore, why? help

Good day ,,
 
 i wonder why,,my pc could not system restore...two months ago i could system restore but now doesnt...

when i tried to download a software from the net,,my pc got  virus, because after i download my pc got got hang-up,,everytime i open in my computer whether in drive c or D ,,it attempt to hang...

first i use to virus scan in ESETnod32 but no luck
my last option is system restore but it says "cannot restore setting, no changes have made in your computer"

please help

Usually system restore stops working when a computer is infected.Post the necessary logs in your next reply.

try reableing it in system properties
also do you have atleast 250mb free diskspace?

At present you can use  this utility to enable system restore.But it  is strongly recommended that you post the logs required as your computer is infected.

What? An operating system cannot function without at least 10% free disk space.

Nasty trojans and viruses modifies default registry and as a result your task manager,system restore,regedit stop working.The registries that are associated with system restore are



HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Sr
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\Srservice

These registries are being modified by viruses and consequently system restore stops responding.


I guess these registries are not modified by you, but by virus.So, your computer is infected.
