    Power failure

    2002 ATX PC.  Power comes on only for an instant; enough to turn the fans a second. PSU is good(tested on other computer). AC source is good. Connections to motherboard are good. Power on switch is good. Thoughts?

      Yeah it's been moved.  In fact, I'm using it and another like it to experiment and learn from.

      Remove and re-seat both the RAM and any addon cards that are installed...
      Gently shake the case to see if there may be a loose screw rattling around in there...this is known to short out the MBoard.
