Hey guys. I got huge news (at least for me). I got my first CELLPHONE!!

The phone is called the Samsung VICE. It's getting activated today. My mom has a special deal because with the Federal Gvt. and she gets 50% off a plan.

200 normal minutes
Unlimited evenings AND weekends
7 c/min long distance in Canada (as opposed to 10)
15 c/min long distance to USA (as opposed to 20)
15 c/text message (including incoming, but I can add unlimited for more)
5 c/kb Internet OUCH (unlimited is 10$ more per month)
FREE Call Display
FREE Voicemail

And a whole bunch of other stuff. I have to see the whole list.

And did I mention that all that is $12.50 per month?

So, when I get the call on my cell that it's been activated, (here's where I need your help)

I'd be reading the manual while waiting for activation...this should give you a head start.
You may want to start collecting your contact info...calling someone and then saving the # is quicker than entering everything manually...

Aparently the guy who I got it from didn't program it, so I called them up and a better worker lead me through the programing. I then did the test call and it worked!

yea i mean, every teen needs to have unlimited txting. my friend should of known that....i sent him 326 messages telling him to pick up his phone.....about 60 dollars....and 30 minutes of copy paste txting.

A fair amount is not everyone but 2 people. And there may be less actual users who are teens than you think. But there is a higher precentage of teens staying on here to help, out of all the users who stay, than who leave right after their problem is solved.

Acctually someones phone rang during class once and the person answered it and the teacher didnt notice it. But she was a really stupid spanish teacher.

I'm not a teen either... and I was recently.

have never owned a cell-phone and have no intentions too either. Nor did I see any need to immediately text my friends during class. I used the class time to do class-work, strangely enough.

I cannot think of any real reason one would need to contact a friend during classtime anyway. 90% of such texts would probably consist of something to the effect of "I am so bored".

BC, you're totally shooting down the idea. The whole selling point for a camera phone is saving space. They're both portable, you bring your cellphone with you wherever you go, sometimes you forget your camera, but with a camera built in, no worries.
Can you send photos from your camera to anyone with a camera wherever you both are?
No.
Can you send photos from your camera-phone to anyone with a camera-phone wherever you both are?
Yes.
