        preferred Operating system poll # 104...

        As with most of the polls not created as a monthly poll it is also poorly constructed.
        I was trying to dereference Null Pointers before it was cool.

        Polls & questions asking "What is your favourite OS/programming language/CPU/data structure etc" always strike me as a bit silly and juvenile. A bit like asking a carpenter which is his favourite chisel; the answer must be "the one that gets the job that I am doing done".

        Windows 2000 is by far the most stable Windows OS so far... the review you linked to was, not surprisingly, on "unixbigots.com" which pretty much says, "bias".
