51% of America rate Alcohol More Dangerous Than Marijuana

Fifty-one percent (51%) of American adults say alcohol is more dangerous than marijuana, according to a new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey. Just 19% disagree and say pot is worse.

But 25% say both are equally dangerous. Just two percent (2%) say neither is dangerous.

I love how they only surveyed 1000 people yet they say that "51% of Americans". 1000 people doesn't even represent 51% of the people in my town alone let along all Americans

This national telephone survey of 1,000 Adults was conducted by Rasmussen Reports August 26-27, 2009. The margin of sampling error for the survey is +/- 3 percentage points with a 95% level of confidence (see methodology).

I do agree with all 300 people that said the drinking age should be lowered to 18. You can join the military and possibly die fighting for your country at 18 but you can't have a beer until you get 21. That is just wrong.
