Hello all
I have a Dell XPS 410 with windows vista home premium.
Intel Core 2 CPU 4300 @1.80 GHz 1.79 GHz
2gbs of RAM
32 bit
Nvidia GeForce 8600 GTS
Now my problem is that my computer turns on with its fans at full power, but no boot screen or anything. A couple days ago my dad left the computer on sleep and when i wanted to use it i got on and moved the mouse, and when i did that the fans started up as they usually do, but this time there was nothing on the monitor so i just rebooted. And of course my computer was messed up. No boot screen with fans on high power.
First thing that came to my mind was to just let the computer cool down, and in the morning when i tried powering the computer the same problem. So i turned on my psp and went on the internet for a solution, found out that the bios might be flawed or something and required a reset.
Yesterday I reset the bios and sure enough the computer ran fine. Then at night i turned it off, and today i turned it back on and the same problem. So i took out my computers battery, and just waited and now the computer is running fine. But i am sure that if i turn off my computer and back on, the computer will still turn on with no boot screen with fans on high power.
I am sure that this is in no way a software problem.
Also, when i turn my computer on, the nvidia fan first turns on then, the main fan turns on.
Thanks in advance.
