OGG Vorbis is a good lossless format.
nope -- Ogg vorbis is lossy just not nearly as much and its open source (is mp3 open source?)

Nice pseudo-quote. But all of you are seriously off topic. The OP asked where to download music. He didn't specify what format it should be in. A one-word answer to the OP's question is "iTunes".

heh, even despite that rant there, I do have a good portion of my Music in MP3, (just so long as it's 320kbps or higher, heh). It's not really that I'm against MP3 but rather the idea of paying for music, and then getting it in a lossy format.




the problem with iTunes is you need to install iTunes.... but that's another rant for another time, perhaps.

I was trying to dereference Null Pointers before it was cool.
