Installer error- Please read it's tricky

Ok, So I've looked high and low  and tried a million things

So I had a trojan horse a week or so ago.  I solved that with AVG.

Everytime I try to install the windows utillity cleaner, I get a run time error, if I try to reinstall the windows installer, it says that I have insufficient memory.  So I ran regcure as some sites suggested, that didn't fix it.  So how do I install windows installer if windows installer won't let me install it?

I'm running Vista, 32 bit.  If any other info is needed please let me know.

Running Regcure or any other regfix programme is a mistake. Get your money back from regcure for a start, it will cause nothing but probs.

Can you tell us a little more about your system specs, RAM, CPU including free memory etc. And is this vista home premium?

I would suggest you start your own thread and not hijack somebody elses. Generally no two problems are exactly the same, so if you start your own thread you will get more specific advice. Thank you

I did but this guy's problem is apparently the same as mine which was  I asked whether he received any good advice as to how to solve the problem. Stretlaw
