Possible power supply problem
« on: September 17, 2009, 07:25:05 AM »
My monitor starting blinking off a week ago saying no input. I would restart the computer and it would work. It started doing it more frequently and then last night, it did the same thing but now when I restart the computer, the blue light showing the computer is on lights up but nothing works at all. I use my computer to charge my MP3 player and it wont even do that. This sounds like a possible problem with the power supply. The computer is 3 years old and just looking for some imput as to if you agree on this or if there is anything else I can do before I replace the power supply.

I would borrow one of the same wattage or greater before buying one and swap it in there at least overnite...you'll know soon enough if it's the PSU.
If it is do yourself a big favor and stay away from the 20 Buck specials...
