Yes, same in safe mode.
check if the mechanical switch on the drive is stuck or smth.
Not that I can tell by wiggling the switch. It works fine as far as opening and closing the tray when I push it. No excess force required nor is it overly sensitive to touce.
Often this is an indication of a virus infection.
I have AVG free and run Windows firewall. I also have Malwarebytes (paid version) and SAS but nothing out of the ordinary found when scanning with either of them.
And when I run my HJT log with the
process tool it only shows files I recognize, although it does show no firewall active. But I do have Windows firewall enabled.
Should I post my logs in the malware section anyway?
