    Computer Randomly restarts
    « on: September 14, 2009, 03:31:34 PM »
Ok so basically my computer just randomly restarts. I mean in a hour it would properly restart 3 - 5 times, it's is extremely annoying and frustrating. I don't think we have a faulty wire or anything. Also some times the screen would go black and say "No signal input" (well something similar to that) and then it would say "Power down" and the little light on the monitor would go orange and after that i would not be able to like use the computer unless i restart the computer. Its like when you put the computer to sleep but this is like permanent. Urgent help.

Ps: Oh! I remembered I done virus & spyware checks. Nothing found.

System Properties - Advanced - Startup & Recovery Settings ----- uncheck "automatically restart"
Next time there's an error you should get a blue screen instead of a reboot. Post the entire contents of that screen here. If the system still boots after you change that setting, it's a hardware problem.

When was the last time you blew the dust out of your computer with a can of compressed air?

Same... my computer show the same situation as yours. It come out Bad_Pool_Caller in BSOD. I still wasn't able to find a way to get rid this problem. I am likely sure it is not any virus as i scanned my computer twice and nothing found.

Yeah. Well, we're going to wait and see what the error message is in this case before we say it's the same problem you have, okay?
