I have the following as a system.
Motherboard.. MSI KM4M-L (MS-6734)
CPU.. AMD Athlon XP-A 2600+ Barton
Memory.. 2 Sticks of Kingston KVR333X64C25/256 MB
PC2700 DDR SDRAM CL 2.5 @ 166 MHz (512 Total)
O.S.. Windows 2000 Pro (Cario) v 5.0.2195 Service Pack.. 4
Printer.. Canon i560 / Driver.. v 8.07
Computer #2 is home networked into system. It's basically the same as above.
*********************************************
I've deleted.. installed.. updated printer & driver.. re-deleted.. re-installed.. re-updated my printer & driver for my Canon i560. It seems like about 85% of the time when I go to print, the printer stops printing part way through.. and SHUTS DOWN MY COMPUTER!
I re-start my computer, cancel out/empty my queue and go to print.. and the same thing may happen 2 or 3 times more. Finally I'm able to print the next couple of pages without any problems.. untill it happens again.
Other than the above, I've had NO other problems with either computer.. or networked system.
My next and last step I'm thinking about to solve the above printer problem is to format "C" and re-install my O.S. along with everything else. You have any suggestions before I go the route?
Thanks..
