Hello i got my ubuntu working after i reinstalled it and i have  a few questions

I being using it but i can't figure out how to load these special graphics like shown in these videos

What are the top sights for dowloading ubuntu software I didn't recognize one sight that had a download for ubuntu so i didn't download anything but a opera web browser from opera what are the other top software that i can use with ubuntu.

I would like to find a good media player  a good photo program like picassa are adobe lightroom 2.4 are something like that
and also can i download any cds to this os.


and i was also wondering how do i watch youtube videos with this the flash player doesn't work with this operating system but i saw some people on youtube using ubuntu and they were on youtube

I managed to get compiz working and got the three d cube i wanted but i would like to know how on one of the videos i posted at three minutes it's like vista scrolling though your programs you have running
