Hi

I have just got the game demo, of battlefield 2 and have found it uses alot of memory, But before i go and spend any money, i want your opinion. i have to run the game on all settings low, and a resolution of 800x 600 for the game to run smooth, Now what i was wondering, is if i buy another 512 ddr ram aswell as the one i have got, Do you think then i will be able to turn up the reselution, or place the settings up to medium. Wich leads me to one more thing, That since playing this my computer seems slow to boot up now, What could of caused this and how do i fix it. Appreciate any help on these two questions.
Os XP home, 2500 amd barton, 512ddr, PNY geforce FX 5900 graphic card.

You can set the Resolution yourself, i have set it at 800x600 because any higer it runs slow.

Increasing the amount of RAM will not increase performance. It will only decrease loading times.

That is true, you need a new video card.. Preferably the new Geforce 6's or ATI 9000's to run it on higher resolutions..
Another thing you can try is running at lower resolution but putting textures on medium.. Play around and tweak until you get lagless gameplay.
