Hi,

Please can anyone help?

My laptop has been infected with a virus (Sep 2009). I received a message from someone in my contacts list saying "hey, is this you?" and a URL.
is this you?? Clicking on the URL launches the virus.
My MSN Messenger client now sends the same message to others in my contact list.
So far the virus has inhibited E-Mail and Internet connectivity and my anti virus, Avast has not picked it up, my firewall missed it and so did my spyware.
What can I do, I have read that this has been around since 2005 but nobody seems to know how to rid it.
Can anyone help ?
I also uninstalled MSN and reinstalled it but it came back when I emailed a friend with outlook.

go to above and complete , post the 3 logs , an expert will see them

take out msn until its fixed , stop contacting others by mail
