    Restricting access to folders on a standard account

    Hello there

    on a standard account how can you restrict access to certain folders.
    I do have a administrator account, but i also use a standard account, and just wondered if i could protect folders, "text docs" "wordpad docs"  etc



    Windows vista home premium.
    windowsXP professional sp3, Ram 512 , 1.30 gigahertz AMD Athlon, Maxtor 4r080L0 hard drive.

    Laptop Toshiba.  L300/L300D series/windows vista home premium/
    2gb ram/32 bit/

    Windows 7 / home premium / 64 bit /3gb system ram /

    Learn how to use NTFS permissions..

    In Windows Vista, if you click on the Start button, and then click on "Help and Support", you could do a search for NTFS permissions, as well..

      ARR Yes i had completly forgot about "help and support" thanks.

      Yes there's a bit of reading to understand how permissions work, but it does not look that difficult to understand.
      I've just restricted access to certain folders on the standard account, but i'll have to read alot moe into it.    :)
