I'm not sure where a question like this would go, but I'm assuming it would go under the category of malware spyware etc.

My husband let a friend use his computer the other night and since then his computer is running slower than normal and even when he's not using the internet, his virus scanner picks up trojan horses. Also, if we deletd his history and do not touch the computer, within minutes we have a hustory filled with porn sites, web offers, and all around wierd sites. Also it's making a clicking noise every once in a while as though the mouse has clicked something but we haven't touched it. I have done minor work with computers and somewhat know my way around them, but I'm not amazing with them. I was told by a good friend that we have something called an adclicker, and he gave me the info on a program called adaware that had a free version I could download and use to remove the adclicker. So I downloaded ad aware and ran a scan it removed some cookies and some malware, but we're still having the same problem. I've ran a virus scan but it's not picking it up, just picking up more trojans that we keep aquiring without touching the computer.

I need to know what is wrong, and what I can do about it.

Computer info you may want... He has a Toshiba Satellite running Windows Vista, using Avast Home Edition as virus software. And I do have the free version of Adaware on it.  Please get back to me as soon as possible. I hope this isn't filled with tons of grammatical errors and you understand what I'm trying to say.
