Can't uninstall programs & have SEVERAL errors pop up when starting computer

As of yesterday everytime I try to run my computer as it is starting up it comes up with SEVERAL programs it can't run (ie. AVG, QuickBooks update manager, etc.) and then once I click ok on all (seems like 10+) programs that say they can't run I try to open programs, such as AVG and it won't open.  Usually the last error upon start up is that the Dsound.dll for Skype isn't working.  I've had problems with my computer since I've downloaded Skype (primarily when shutting down it has issues saying Skype is still open and has to terminate the process first).  I tried to uninstall Skype but whenever I do it says that my Windows Installer Service is not available.  I don't know how to uninstall programs otherwise.  ALSO, I have ran BitDefender's online virus scanner since I can't open my AVG program and it did find a virus but I can't tell if it was able to eliminate it or not, here is the report:

The only program I've been able to run on my computer is Internet Explore.  Chrome won't work, Disk Defrag won't work, etc.
I'm sure I have a virus on my computer but I don't know how to get rid of it!  HELP!

Viruses are getting so bad. I dont think there is really anything you can do except wipe out your PC and reload your operating system.  You can try to run this diagnostic or that troubleshooting but you will most likely waist your time as these viruses have like evolved over the past yr or so. http://www.oemsoftwaresource.com/windowsreinstallinfo.htm This is a page I created which explains the reinstall process.http://www.oemsoftwaresource.com You can find Recovery Disks here.
