iPhone and iPod nano on one computer
« on: March 26, 2010, 09:23:57 PM »
I have iPhone 3Gs.  Kids use iPod nano.   One computer, two separate user accounts on the one computer.  Kids account is set up as limited, mine is administrator.  Why can't kids download their iTunes now?   I don't use iTunes on phone (yet) have not tried to download any tunes on iPhone yet.

You are the administrator, correct? Some programs are not installable on a limited account so you will install it. If the installer detects multiple accounts, it will (usually) ask if you want to install only on your account or if you want to install it for all users. Select the all users option and continue with the installation. The next time you reboot (or not) you should see the iTunes icon all all the users' desktops and they can run it.

I have the same opinion and hopefully it will sort out your problem. Try it once otherwise you can discuss it further.
