unsuccessful system recovery

I have a relatively new computer at 6/12 old, Windows Vista- shut down one & would not restart - tried system restore but did not work, stated catastrophic error 0X8000FFFF (tried twice same error)- tried system recovery  twice and still did not work - details include "volume in drive C has no label Serial F89F95C1" - what do I do?? any help greatly appreciated

Welcome to the CH Windows XP forum.

Please read this and post the entire error message displayed not just selected parts of it.

One good deed is worth more than a year of good intentions.
