    SSID disabled
    « on: October 22, 2009, 07:30:57 PM »
I disabled the SSID on my Linksys router by mistake.   I have been able to locate the router in the control panel and I designated it as the number one PC but I can't get it to connect.  How can I view the router so that I can change the SSID broadcast to enable?

Connect to it with a network cable, instead of wirelessly. Then type in the IP address in a web browser and you should be able to configure it.
If you remember what you set the SSID to, you can manually enter it into the wireless config on your computer and it will connect.
