calculating psu power

How can you tell how much power your "motherboard" draws when calculating power supply needs?  I looked at the manual for a particular motherboard and it doesn't say what the maximum power draw is..

thx, it's an interesting program...  But if I'm building from scratch and have no motherboard to install it on it doesn't do much good.

When i was doing my electronics I used multimeter to test the temperatures for hardware. If you are an expert you can check you motherboard temperature with the help of it. But it's risky even a small damage can cost a million.

I appreciate your help, but I don't understand what this has to do with calculating the power draw of any given motherboard.
